A game should not be able to crash the X server, so this indicates a bug in either the X server or in your driver. Try upgrading or downgrading your driver.

If the problem persists, please contact support@linuxgamepublishing.com with information about your card and output from the test tool (//demofiles.linuxgamepublishing.com/lgp_testtool/).

I can start the game now, it runs into full window mode, but then (after some colours) the x-server starts again, and i have to login.

Thanks for posting. I must not have pulled the affected update yet. I’ve been running x2 nightly without ‘–withgl’.
