Sacred Gold available in Ubuntu Software Center

We’re proud to announce the beginning of a relationship with Canonical bringing you the greatest Linux ports of your favourite games right to your desktop within the Ubuntu Software Centre. LGP is launching with Sacred Gold, a classic RPG with eight unique playable characters ranging from the more well known classes like Wood-Elf to Sacred’s unique characters such as the Seraphim. Sacred Gold includes not only the original game, but Sacred: Underworld as well, where you set out on an epic quest to the very gates of hell itself.

Good job, i cannot find anywhere stated if it has the DRM in or not? Also will the price on LGP’s site reflect the newer lower price or is that for download only?

Are you going to publish your entire games catalog to Ubuntu?
    That would be awesome!

Looks like it should be a great game. I ordered it yesterday using USC and Paypal, and have yet to receive my game key. Does anyone know what to do in situations like this?

From what I understand about the USC process, the key should have been included within your payment confirmation email that was sent to you. I hope this helps!

I was also surprised that after buying the game in the Ubuntu Software Center i was faced with a small window called “LGP Security System Manager” telling me “Please enter your game key” – isn’t there a way to automate this behaviour?

I found the key in the mail “Confirmation: Purchase of software ‘Sacred Gold’.” – it was hidden at the end of the email! :)

Will those who own a game with Copy Protection and are registered on LGP get a key for Desura?

Great ! I discovered this game long ago thanks to you !
I enjoyed Diablo 2 with Wine and Sacred is somehow better as it is running straight away.
The only issue I found about it was the server part, ating so much ressources even if the server is not actually playing.
